Pimple on mole

I've had a large mole on my left leg since birth but noticed a greenish pimple on it yesterday.
The pimple isn't sore and feels a bit squishy. The mole still looks exactly the same as normal.
My go isn't seeing patients at the moment, just phone consultations. I hate bothering gp's and feel physically fine. Any ideas what it could be? Trying to attach a pic.

I must admit I would be tempted to squeeze it ! No expert at all but it looks like a spot on the mole

Your GP has a duty to see patients if they need to be seen. They cannot do just phone calls.

Are they doing video calls?

This needs looking at and soon.

It isn't a 'nice' looking mole - the surface is irregular- it looks quite big, and there is a change to it. All those things are possible signs of skin cancer. Many drs would advise that any mole more than 1cm across needs monitoring anyway or possibly removing as a precaution.

You need to talk t oyour GP, ask to be seen or send a photo, and be referred to a dermatologist.

Don't put it off.

Thanks v much for the replies. It's not as raised today and looks more white than greenish.
Our gp's have really not being seeing anyone, everything has been via phone, not even Skype, although they might make an exception for emergencies although I'm doubtful as the receptionists weren't letting anyone in!
It's really a birthmark and has been checked over the years - it changed shape slightly about 20 years ago and they did a biopsy but it was clear. It's always been that colour and shape, it's never bothered me - normally is only ever seen in the summer lol.
Will ask at work on Monday as I work with District nurses, there's not much they haven't seen lol. Hoping it will just disappear.

I have a birthmark similar on my back expect more raised, I also had a pimple on it, it did go but the doctor told me that a spot under a mole takes longer to clear up as the skin is thicker it just took almost two weeks lol

Thanks v much, it completely disappeared after 3 days. Not sure if I knicked it with my razor when shaving my legs, razor was a bit blunt. Completely fine now but will keep an eye on it.

When my mole had a pimple I took him to the Vet and she said that it was nothing to worry about and added if you dug a hole with just your hands and your nose you would probably have a pimple too.
