Fungal infection?

I noticed when I was going in the shower this morning a rash under both of my breasts, it’s a little bit itchy and looks like I was scratching in the night because it’s sensitive to touch, Does anyone know can I buy something over the counter for it or do I need to “see” a doctor?

Forgot to say I’ve been using baby powder under there most days because of the heat, could it have caused the rash?

Yes, it’s a fungal rash called intertrigo - very common when the weather’s hot! You could use an anti fungal cream or powder suitable for Athlete’s foot (Daktarin or similar) and tea tree oil is effective too, as it’s also anti fungal. Aim to keep the area dry (not easy in the heat!) and wash gently underneath every day - some people dry it off with a hair dryer on cold setting. You could also use tissues underneath inside your bra, to absorb sweat.

The baby powder wouldn’t be to blame, it’s a good idea to use it.
