Shingles??

Has anyone here had shingles? What was the first day? I've had this really tingly sore patch on the top of my head on one side, no rash so far but definitely some slight bumps under the skin, and I definitely feel out of sorts. I'm
hoping it's just my trousers rubbing my fat!! I did have chickenpox as an adult, about 20 years ago and remember how rough I felt, really hoping this is not shingles.

You might want to test for covid. Rashes in adults are a symptom.

I did wonder about your trousers rubbing your head!?GrinConfused
I had shingles, the spots were on my back near my shoulder blade, I didn't feel too poorly, but I remember the spots were incredibly painful.

If you suspect shingles I'd advise you to get an emergency appointment with your GP. You can be prescribed an antiviral but it needs to be started very soon after the rash appears to be effective. It will lessen the symptoms and clear up more quickly.

I’ve had it on my hip. It can get very painful very quickly. I’d def advise getting a GP appointment ASAP.

Google burning skin and Covid. It’s definitely a symptom.
