I have it

Have you stopped any medication lately

Have you been taking anti histamines( these make it worse for me)

Try a decent dose of vitamin D along with magesium tablets.

Yeh I’ve tried everything nothing seems to help. I was taking medication to help me sleep but can’t take it now with being pregnant.

Magnesium oil, sprayed on the legs.

icedancerlenny · 18/08/2020 23:38

Definitely magnesium oil. I’ve just sprayed mine on as my legs are bad.

Just seen you are pregnant so some usual treatment options might not be available. I get restless legs once in a blue moon now but when pregnant it was relentless, you have my sympathy.

I have it, I think mine is linked to low potassium so when it gets bad I try to make sure I eat bananas, which are NOT on my top ten of fruits I like, I find this helps. I then go for ages and forget until the night it starts again and there are no bananas in the house!

Oh bless you, it is the most unpleasant feeling. Magnesium is brilliant - you can get salts to add to your bath which is lovely and relaxing. Also I get some magnesium body butter that is great. Has your pregnancy made it worse?

Have your ferritin levels checked? Low iron can cause restless legs.
