Sore gums

I've had sore gums now on and off since I was pregnant nearly two years ago. I've been to the dentist and they said everything looks fine 🤷🏽‍♀️ it is such an intense ache sometimes and I don't know how to fix it. Maybe I need a different dentist but each time I've been they've said my gums look good.

I brush twice a day with an electric soft bristled toothbrush. I floss my teeth at night and use mouthwash 1-3 times a day depending.

Any ideas? I personally think I have gum disease but mild and the dentists have missed it.

Might buy some different dental products tomorrow...

yes I have gum disease and it’s just how you explain it so maybe you have and if you have an affraid there is no cure.. :( I’ve spent hounds on looking after my teeth... always cleaned them twice a day.. I paid 5k for an invisible brace and had them whitened a couple of times (everyone commented on my teeth saying they look fake they are so good now I have gum disease.. WTF x

I read this to my husband whose a periodontist whose said you most likely had pregnancy gingivitis and your gum health never really went back to normal. he's recommending a visit to the hygienist and a round of corsodyl as the first step. Hope this helps
