St Johns wort

I have some St John’s wort tablets and I’m just wondering if these are okay to cut into half? I am worried that the dose is too high for me. I can’t see anything on the box, it just says not to chew them.

Ask a pharmacist.

I suggest contacting a pharmacist or your GP. St John's Wort is not longer available over the counter in pharmacists anymore in Ireland. I cannot remember why but better to contact someone who can advise you.

Be aware that St Johns wort interferes with hormonal contraception.
