Health Anxiety Support Thread

I never suffered from any kind of anxiety until I had my first child 5 years ago. It got quite bad and I was on antidepressants for a while but since then I can manage it quite well day to day. My issue now is health anxiety, I'll be fine until I notice something out of the ordinary happening on or in my body and then I start to spiral. Logic makes no difference to the crazy thought processes, normally I'm a level headed person.

I thought it would be good to start a thread for those of us in the same boat, I just find it's hard to explain it to anyone whose never experienced it including my DH.

What methods do you use to manage it?
