QUICK!!!!! Can you break your fingers by trapping your hand in a door that doesn't fully shut?

DS1 tried to slam the door in a temper but his bookbags stopped it shutting. His hand is really hurting.

My ds1 fractured his fingertip in just that sort of a way

can he wiggle it like a spider?

(I don't know, they used to say it in nursery so I always use it as a test. Probably all my kids' fingers have unhealed fractures as a result)

i did it to ds in the car and to myself a few months later.....sleepless nights not anger...if they can move them they're almost certainly not broken but if you're worried take him to a&e, it shouldn't be too busy on a tues night.

Just got him to clench his fist. Is that okay?

I would have thought so, you can't do alot without being in excruciating agony if you've broken stuff, should think you'll, sorry he'll be OK
