Hi
My DP was diagnosed with kidney cancer last week (still waiting for the official talk from the consultants) he’s been told his tumour is 99% cancerous. He’s 55.

Thought I would add a thread for people who are living and supporting people who’ve got cancer.

So far he’s had 2 CT scans, 2 MRIs and next week he’s going for a Renal DMSA which is to look at his kidney function. He’s also got his pre-op but no indication of when his operation is.

He’s being very passive and burying his head a bit. I seem to be doing all the pushing for him to find things out.

It all seems very surreal as he seems to well.

The days go by and it’s like being in a dream. So beautiful and peaceful sat in our garden and I find myself suddenly remembering all that’s happening
