Anyone with any thyroid knowledge just wanted a quick opinion. Bit of background but I had a thyroid cyst about 6 years ago after my little boy was born. I had it drained and a biopsy as ultrasound showed calcium deposits, luckily came back clear.
No problems since til a few weeks ago started feeling a fullness on left side of neck again, occasional (once a week or less maybe) pain when swallowing and my little girl took the photo above and can see what to me looks like a swelling.
But I think necks are weird looking anyway. I have booked a GP appointment in 3 weeks time but by telephone. Just wanted some opinions because it it does look completely normal I don't want to waste anyone's time.
