Hi, I wonder if anyone able to provide their experience? I had a microdisectomy in 2017, the severe pain from nerve was immediately resolved. However, since then I've found my back has become stiff and I suffer from daily back ache.

Interested to hear others experience.

Had one and disc underneath herniated about 6 months after and disc that I had done also has bulged again. I recovered slow and very painfully and I wouldn't have it done again. I would recommend getting a recent MRI, then having regular osteopath apps (bimonthly) along with swimming/pilates

Hi @Fawnandwren thank you for your response. I wonder if the pain is caused by the 2 discs either side, they were bulging but deemed to not be sufficient enough to be operated on. I recall the surgeon advising they would hopefully move back into place without operation.

Sorry to hear you did not have a great experience and was left in pain!

I will look at pilates thank you for your advice.
