What are the signs and symptoms?
I’m having terrible tummy pains. Bloating, Poo problems, tiredness, constant joint pain

Symptoms can vary so much, with me I can be blocked up or be at the toilet all the time and have bad pain. If I’m in a flare then I am so fatigued, have headaches and my eyes can be funny. I wax in remission for 8 years but symptoms came back a couple of years ago. Most are controlled now with medication.
I’d recommend getting to the gp to be referred for tests as they can take a longer time

Eyes funny? How do you mean? My eyes have been strange for a while but cant put my finger on it.
I was told IBS years ago, havent suffered for years and the past month Ive been in agony with my tummy plus really bad back pain, ankle and foot pain and wrist pain.
My cousin has been diagnosed with Crohns and is 30 weeks pregnant, shes had to have a stoma bag and has advised me to contact the GP, she was fobbed off for 8 weeks

My eyes mix up 3s and 8s for example, just blurry but it’s only now and then. Even once referred the waiting can be bad as the IBD teams seem so under staffed . See if they can do a blood test to get the ball rolling as this might show infection

You can get your gp to do a blood test and a stool sample looking for IBD. This can be done whilst waiting for the referral.
