This has been going on for weeks. Tons of customers have had hundreds of pounds stolen and medical information stolen and credit card details stolen. The company is deliberately trying to silence the story. Customers are being ignored and they are refusing to compensate them! How is this legal?!! Lots of reports from customers on trustpilot but company is trying to drown these out with fake positive reviews. Anybody on here been affected? I feel like this should be headline news.

Go to trustpilot and read the one star reviews, absolutely shocking, how is this allowed??

There was a data breach/site issue but they appear to have responded to all the complaints? ICO and the police are involved.

I think the issue is the company refusing to compensate customers for the hundreds of pounds that have been stolen from their credit cards due to their weak security and also trying to cover up the issue by posting tons of fake positive reviews on trustpilot

You need to get your credit card company involved and let them deal with it.

How are you able to decide what is a fake review and what is a real review? There are about 20? complaints and all have been answered?
I can't see any cover up just from that site but you may have more info.

While I appreciate having someone access your account can be a very worrying time, how do you know they are not compensating anyone?
I can't see anything to come to your conclusion. Any compensation would be personal to the claimant and probably something to be sorted at a later stage perhaps? It happened around the 7 July and it might be too soon to expect they have sorted all the issues in this time? You have to correct the problem first, stop any further issues, assess who has lost out and any affects. For some there may be additional bank costs and fees if it left them over drawn or with DDs not being paid.
I would expect any money back and some form of compensation but give them time to stop the problem and find out how it happened.

I don't see this as a headline but may be wrong? I would certainly be angry and upset if it happened to me. I wouldn't be using them again either.

Every time someone posts about the data breaches and having money stolen, immediately ten extremely positive reviews appear, they are obviously gaming the website to hide the data breaches

That's interesting, I used them a couple of weeks ago.
Had an email out of the blue from Barclaycard this morning telling me not to worry, there hasn't been any fraud on my account, but they are replacing my card for security reasons.
Had no idea what prompted tham to do that but perhaps it's because they've flagged up I've shopped wtih simple pharmacy.

Abubilie · 30/07/2020 14:21

Yeah that must be it. Lots of people have had to get their credit cards replaced. It's shocking that they haven't contacted you themselves as they are responsible for your personal data being stolen

Pretty sure that legally they have to tell you if you're personal information is stolen, so it looks like they're breaking the law here

Can't believe you could have your credit card details and medical information stolen and they didn't inform you because they are trying to cover it up and limit the bad publicity. Shocking.

There should at least be some kind of warning or notification on their website about the security problems and data breaches and fraud that's affecting their website
