As the title says really. As I was shaving my legs last week, I stupidly went over a mole and managed to shave it off and it bled. I thought it was completely gone but I thought I'd wait a week to see if it appears as I've heard they can grow back. Its still there(although it may be a bit smaller than before). I've done a quick google search but it came up with a lot of scary things about getting cancer from it, etc. Should I be concerned? Should I get it checked out? Could I have cancer now? I'm so worried Sad

I sliced half off the mole above my eyebrow by accident. I am still here 25 years later! Don't worry.

Just keep an eye on it, if it changes from how it is now, get it checked out. This is a good guide on what to look out for : www.nhs.uk/conditions/moles/

I managed to scratch one off, it's not come back but am keeping an eye on where it was still.

There is some stuff I've read about that too but I think it watch out for any changes.

Any mole has the potential to turn cancerous, shaved off or not! Accidents happen, I've scratched one on my neck far too many times.
If you're concerned, talk it through with your doc to put your mind at ease.
