Spotting after internal examination?

Had an [internal] pelvic exam at GPs last week. Now been spotting for a few days. Is this normal after a pelvic exam?

I'm menopausal and have a mirena coil, if that's relevant?

I always spot after an internal and loads after my mirena was fitted.

I also can spot after passing a large number 2 (sorry)

I've mentioned it to nurses during smears and to the GP who put in my coil and they've all said I just have a thin patch up there that is easily torn.

However OP if it's still bothering you, give them a call and ask to speak to GP or to a practise nurse?
