Health niggles

After speaking with a friend I was wondering does everyone have health niggles and it is just a case of getting on with it.

I've a friend who considers herself very sick yet has all minor things, nothing serious. Whereas I know other people who would say they've great health because they're never off work sick or at the doctors but they do have little things wrong alot of the time. Is it more about people's ability to deal with niggles (of course I'm not talking about anyone with any serious illness, my heart goes out to them. I'm referring to general headache, tummy aches, heartburn, colds etc)

It depends. If i have headache today and an abdominal pain next week I would ignore it but if I have headache today, abdominal pain tomorrow, then ear ache next day followed by something trivial every day then I would call myself sick because even if things on their own are trivial it is affecting my quality of life, would cause me anxiety and make me feel something is wrong with me.

I always think of myself as healthy but my DH wouldn’t say the same about me. He sees my brittle bones (and resulting fractures), scoliosis and other congenital issues as markers of poor health, whereas I see poor health as being susceptibility to colds, flu and other viruses. Which I never get.
