Pancreatitis? What were your symptoms?.

just wondering what peoples experience of pancreatitis have been? Although I could be overreacting!

Past few nights my middle abdo has been giving me quite bad pain. It’s just above my belly button and it’s as if someone’s pulling a tight band around my stomach.
It lasts around 4 hours and I’m totally fine through the day. Have took some buscopan but doesn’t seem to have helped.
Don’t even know whether to call the GP or just wait and see what happens, don’t want to waste his time.

Sounds like a gall bladder attack. I had pancreatitis and even morphine didn't take the pain away completely and it lasted for days. With gall bladder attacks the pain would come on gradually and last a few hours then resolve if I was sick (sorry tmi). Hope you get to the bottom of it soon
