Terrified of lump

In the week I had a sore armpit, I thought perhaps I had nicked it when rushing to shave my armpits before work the other day (dry shaving them)
I can’t seem to get a deodorant that works for me and often starts gathering in the crease throughout the day, feels horrible, but today I felt a hard lump under the skin in the crease of my armpit and have been freaking out ever since, my husband said there was a small black head on it and he’s squeezed it, some white gunk came out, it’s sore now, don’t know why i let him but I was panicking, now I’m worried it’s something sinister.
Does anyone get lumps from shaving? In grown hairs or irritated pits because of deodorants?

It’s really just a blackhead, they can be very hard! If anything came out of it it’s definitely not anything to worry about.

Yes! New brand of deodorant on freshly shaved armpits. 4 big spots in a row in that crease you mentioned, all feel hard and quite deep. I also quite often get a little ingrown hair or something similar that can also feel like a ‘lump’, which is really common especially if you have dry shaved. I think if there was gunk it is more likely to be a spot or ingrown hair than anything sinister, they really can feel like deep.

Oh yes I’ve had one of these before! Called the doctor in such a panic. Went down after a few weeks.

I did ring the doctor after a bad night sleep, reassured me it’s probably a cyst and said to stop messing with it
