Freaking out about cervical cancer

Hi
I obviously know you (mostly, expect a few are!) aren’t doctors. But it’s friday PM and I have freaked myself out about cervical cancer today.
I am 47 and post menopausal (early meno due to damage from ending) so don’t have periods.
For some weeks now my lower back and pelvis has been hurting. I have a sacroiliac issue (pelvic area) which causes low back pain and sometimes pelvic pain and see an osteopath 3 monthly. Obviously with covid i’ve Not been for ages so naturally the back is particularly bad at the min. Was putting it all down to the sacroiliac issue. However today in the shower was having a “deep clean” and noticed orange discharge from down there.
Did my usual stupidity and googled. And yes, you guessed it. CANCER obviously comes up. I was called for a smear end of March but again... covid and all that! So I have called and booked a smear but it’s not for 2 and a half weeks. With this pain etc and noticing the weird colour discharge should I be seeking doctor appointment earlier? Or go to out of hours maybe? My head is gone. Thanks for reading and any advice welcome.

I don’t think cancer normally presents with pain hence needing screenings. I’ve never heard of orange discharge but all I can say is don’t borrow troubles from tomorrow and take the most logical next step. Book your screening, stay off google, and enjoy right now.
