Solution for post nasal drip?

yearinyearout · 24/07/2020 08:26

After consulting dr google I am assuming this is what I've had for a couple of months.

Feeling of mucus build up In my throat, having to clear it often, but not had any kind of illness or cough. I do get allergies but they usually present in streaming eyes and nose. Weirdly I've not had usual hay fever symptoms this year.

Has anyone found an effective solution? Don't really want to bother my doctor with it.

Cutting most dairy out of my diet helped. I'm not really strict about it but when at home I don't have any apart from the occasional bit of cheese, and if i eat any amount I notice a difference.

Just tried washing out sinuses with a homemade saline rinse, it was grim.

I'll try daily antihistamine too. Thanks
