After many years of good control with hydroxychloroquine it stopped working. I have RA which has been very active since January, I'm on prednisolone and started Sulphasalazine four weeks ago.
Two weeks on a low dose and then double the dose.
I thought I was tolerating it well, I had a few headaches in the second week but they eased off but now I've had the most awful headache 24/7 for the last week. Not only that there is no sign of my symptoms improving.
I know it can take 12+ weeks but I'm disappointed to feel no better after four weeks.
I've had lots of drugs before that give side effects and they usually wear off. Has anyone else had the headaches and did they wear off? I can't stand too much more of this.
