Just in case it’s at all related, I’m under investigation for problems with my kidneys (repeat severe infections, last one had needed hospital treatment but I’d not managed to get it, ended up being discharged with more antibiotics). Having an ultrasound scan tomorrow for this.
However, the last couple weeks any time I’ve sneezed/coughed there’s been a bulging feeling in my upper right abdomen, about an inch up and a few inches to the right but in my body not beneath the skin. No visible lump or difference on the surface of my skin. I couldn’t feel anything when pressing down, and couldn’t feel anything unless I sneezed etc, until yesterday. Now I can feel something if I sit hunched over/slouched in bed etc, unsure what’s because there’s still no visible lump or anything beneath my skin.
It’s not painful, it’s just there. Kind of like being pregnant and feeling your baby there (it’s the only way I can describe it! Never felt anything like it before). It’s driving me mad though, purely because I can feel it when there really doesn’t seem to be anything there that I can visible touch! What could it be?!
