[Misterectomy]

I’ve been on the same dose estrogen patches for about 5 years and am 52. I’m wondering if they are becoming less effective as my natural estrogen levels must be declining. If you’re on HRT, do you get your hormone levels checked - regularly or ever?

They don’t tend to do hormone checks. However, if you are suffering any symptoms, have a chat to the dr and they will tweak or change your HRT.

They dont do hormone checks but mine was changed from 1mg to 2mg when I started getting hot flushes. Solved the problem instantly!
