I have had 2 colds in the space of about 3 weeks and have been left with a very tickly couch which just will not budge at all.

It is keeping me awake at night and i coughed that much this morning i was actually sick.

Dp reckons i should go to the docs as i am couginh that much i sometimes find it really hard to get my breath but they can't do much for a tickly cough can they ??

I'm suffering a similar fate as well nutcracker, crap isn't it? I suppose this will be me until spring, when the sun shines again.

Anyway, I find propping myself up with pillows til almost sitting has a good effect and I also take a swig of This stuff last thing before going to bed and it's sooo strong you can't feel your throat!

I will get some of that stuff tommorow Furball if i have a nother bad night tonight.

Yorkiegirl - I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to swallowing anything i don't like, or gargling for that matter.

Boots Nirolex works wonders for night time. Sounds mad, but breath through a hot wet sponge or flannel when your having a coughing attack - soothes the throat a bit.
Hope you feel better soon.
