Yesterday I had a very in depth abdominal ultrasound. Had gallbladder, liver kidneys etc checked. Today I'm very tender and achy in some of the areas and I'm just wondering has anyone ever experienced it afterwards? Im asking on here because I don't want to contact my gp unless absolutely necessary and I definitely don't want to ask Dr Google 😂 tia

Hi @peakygal - no answers, just bumping this for you. I'm booked in for one of these too so interested to hear your experience

Hi @asterope. Thank you for your reply. The tenderness passed after a day or 2. When are you booked in for your scan?

I'm still waiting for the referral letter to come and getting more and more anxious in the meantime! Did they tell you anything during the scan? Or did they remain silent and leave you waiting to hear from the doc? Thanks for reply!

They told me I will be contacted. Which now has me wondering is it good news because I haven't heard anything or could it be bad news and with all that's going on just be delayed? I hate the waiting 😑

It's so horrible thinking somebody is looking inside you and not telling you what they're seeing! I hope you get good news soon. If it was something urgent I'm sure you'd have heard Thanks

Thank you! Best of luck to you too 🤞🤞
