Hi,

I started treatment with Professor Malone Lee in London a little while ago. I just wondered if there was anyone out there who’d been down or was on this journey who’d be interested in getting in touch? I just wanted to get another perspective from someone to see what their recovery was or is like x

Hi @Coconutbear1
I am also very interested to find out if anyone has had success with Professor Malone Lee , as I am currently waiting for an appointment to see him . It’s hard to find reviews on the web from actual patients, although I have seen some interesting reports on his work which galvanised me to try and get to see him .

Hi, sorry I’ve just seen you’re reply. I’m on treatment at the moment, it’s early days for me but I’ve not had any relief yet. I’ve read a lot of stories about Malone Lee online but like you say not any actual patient stories/accounts. I’d love to see some though just to read their different stories and get an idea of how long they took to improve etc. I’ve heard some can start to improve after a few weeks and some can take over a year... if you want to chat or any advice help feel free to PM me x this is a horrid thing to have x

I saw him when he worked on the NHS and spent a year on high dose antibiotics much to the utter detriment of my gut health. Ten years later I saw a similar doctor who again prescribed long term antibiotics. My mother in law and close friend were treated for years by Malone Lee and were also left with immense damage to the gut.

I'm still suffering. Meanwhile my bladder symptoms all cleared up through other means.
Cystoscopies and long term antibiotics should be illegal in my opinion. Wish someone had told me before.
Sorry to paint a negative view but had to share. He was struck off for a reason.
