My sister went into hospital to have an 8cm (!!) 'ovarian cyst' removed yesterday, but they have now reported to her that the cyst was on her Fallopian Tube and not on the ovary. After doing a bit of a google it looks like it was a Paraovarian cyst.
Has anyone had one? Was your tube completely damaged? Does it affect your fertility? We thought it was great news she didn't lose her ovary but have been struck down again with the knowledge that her tube is now damaged.
