Any thoughts? It's not very strong but I've noticed it now and again. Is this normal?

She only has four teeth but we brush regularly anyway.

I've noticed sour breath can happen especially when they are coming down with colds. I think of it as 'ill breath'!!

oh thanks. Yes, it's reminiscent of tonsilitis breath... and I do have the beginnings of a sore throat now I come to think of it.

As for worms - eek. How did you find out about them? Should I be examining nappies?

My dd2 has bad breath at night this week, she's also got a really snotty nose, I think the two must be related.

belgo · 27/09/2007 08:41

Hope she's not got worms...

margoandjerry · 27/09/2007 09:09

blimey!

She's a very light sleeper so I would never get away with that! Will stick with detailed examination at nappy time...

my dd has terrible breath, always has had. Nothing wrong with teeth and definitely no worms. I think its just her, death breath we call her, especially i the mornings. ugh!

I have recently discovered that ds1, who often has bad breath, has so beacause he shovels his food down without chewing it properly. I guess it sits in his stomach rotting away (Yuk). If I get him to chew his food well it makes a HUGE difference.
