Unbearable tooth pain

Hi all,

I feel like I'm about to pass out from pain in my jaw but I have no idea which tooth or where exactly it is coming from. I've had two kids and think my pain threshold is relatively high but this is making me feel sick it hurts so much!!

It's all around the left side of my mouth but I can't pinpoint it to any particular tooth. Has anyone ever had this?! What could it be?

Thanks!

Do you need a filling? Can you see any holes or cracks/breaks in the teeth?
Is there any out of yours dentist you can get to this evening? If not, try take as much pain relief as you can to get you through the night and then get it seen to tomorrow.
I'd advise to take paracetamol, ibuprofen and possibly a mild sleeping tablet if you can get your hands on one to get you through the night. Also if you have a chlorhexidine mouthwash wash a few times before bed
Tooth pain is horrific. I hope you feel better soon

Unfortunately this can sometimes be a symptom of a dental abscess, the pain 'radiates' so it's hard to tell where it's coming from, but a dentist would be able to pinpoint it. Hopefully I'm wrong, but to be on the safe side I wouldn't leave this any longer than absolutely necessary if I were you. My sympathies - I know that kind of pain well and it's horrible!
