Sinuses/Tooth help!

Wondering if anyone has any ideas or can help. I posted a while ago about severe headaches and while they have tailed off now I'm still having other issues.

I found out last week that I need root canal, no major pain but have lost a bit of filling and also had some pain in my jaw and face. Alongside this the last week or so I've had a terrible problem with my smell and taste, everything smells the same and it's awful but I can also taste it, it's really vile and makes me feel so sick. I'm going between eating constantly to mask the taste and not eating at all because nothing tastes the same anymore. Other symptoms are constant low level nausea, mild headache at the front, heavy eyes, huge fatigue (I'm. It one for naps but the last few days I've fallen asleep in the afternoon) and I just generally feels rubbish. The worst part is the smell and taste it's just constant and I can't do anything about it. I also have a weird feeling in my left nostril when I breath almost like the air is going up to my eye if that makes sense?!

Does anyone know if the need for root canal would be causing this or if it's something else? Maybe sinuses?

Have to add that I don't have a blocked nose although this morning I woke up and had some thick phlegm at the back of my throat 🤮
