Sinus problems and permanent runny nose :(

Just before dd was born (5 years ago) I had a really bad sinus infection. Obviously as I was pregnant I didn't take anything and it got quite bad. The problem is I have suffered since with a constant blocked nose and it runs ALL the time. I have tried anti-biotics, some herbal remedies, steroid sprays and even been to see an ENT specialist. It is really beginning to interfere with my life and I am constantly blowing my nose.
Has anyone else had this? Any advice would be really appreciated as it is really inetrfering with my life and I need to something!
Thanks BH

Hi Kayleigh

They actually made it worse. Is that possible???? Going to see gp on Weds so I'll let you know
It is really getting me down though as I am having quite a big dentistry op on Thursday and know (disgusting) I am going to be so uncomfortable as I will be lying back and stuff will running down my throat. I really need to sort it out!

Bh I have ent problems. I take clarityn each day and get 120 tablets per script.
I also see a homeopath and take kali sulph which does help with the sinus pain, it gets worse at the start of the remedy and then much better. I can even smell things like chocolate for a while. I have polyps but have not had them removed as they do grow back.

blossomhill, they may have made it worse before it gets better sort of thing. Am glad you are going to your GP. Let us know how you get on.
