How to ease constipation?

As the title suggests... I can suffer from fairly bad constipation and sometimes can go for up to 3 days without going to the toilet.

It's uncomfortable, I feel bloated and sometimes it makes me anxious to leave the house far because I know that if I haven't been for a while: when I will need to go, I will need to go urgently.

Does anyone have any tips on how to ease this? Any good things to eat?

Chia seeds and flax seeds in high fibre cereal daily! And prune juice!!

Porridge used to eork for me. I used to go regularly. Then it stopped working.

Have you tried a few dried apricots? They are very good for loosening you up. Also some sugar free boiled sweets are good.

Get some Senokot, take two before bedtime and you should be moving in the morning.

Also introduce some high fibre foods into your diet. Bran-flakes for your breakfast etc.
