This seems to happen when I have my period.

Is it anything to worry about? It is irritating and sore to touch but not affecting my vision.

I had one of these that lingered for months. Used hot eye packs and baby shampoo to clean the area. I think mine was linked to ocular rosacea (I developed facial rosacea at same time). Had a long course of oral lymecycline which helped a bit and also now have Soolantra cream (to use on face not eyes) if it flares up.
