Accidentally ate 2 slices of white toast this morning and only realised after there was the odd spot of blue mould on the crusts and now I’m freaking out. Should I make myself sick

You’ll be fine - but couldn’t you taste it?

Chmorgs · 27/06/2020 13:36

I had butter and marmite on it so didn’t even taste it Sad

Your stomach acid would have dealt with that, so it's fine :)

Chmorgs · 27/06/2020 13:46

I just worry cause I take Omeprazole 20mg so I’m scared my stomach acid won’t kill it off and it will make me sick

You'll be fine. You will still have some stomach acid, Omeprazole just reduces it.m to a 'normal' level.

I've mistakenly eaten mouldy bread before. I've also picked the mouldy bit off once or twice when I've made cheese on toast or mackerel on toast and then realised afterwards. Blush
