Does anybody know anything about ecg results? I have mine but don’t know what I’m looking at? I was wondering if this appears normal? Thanks any help would be great

Do you have an appointment to get the results explained?

Jessali21 · 26/06/2020 11:55

This was from an ambulance ecg which didn’t require hospitalisation. So not much was said. Obviously I know it cannot be bad if I wasn’t taken in but just wondered if any one could shed anymore light on it x

I don’t think you can expect people online to diagnose you, sorry. Can you ask your GP!

HappyHammy · 26/06/2020 14:24

This isnt really the right place to ask. Sorry.

Jessali21 · 26/06/2020 14:30

I wasn’t looking for a diagnosis I was purely asking for an option on wether this looks normal

We can’t tell you that without all the context of your health. Talk to your GP.

Jessali21 · 26/06/2020 15:03

I understand that

You've posted a tiny tiny piece of the ECG, so nobody could possibly tell you anyway. But an ECG needs to be interpreted alongside your symptoms and history - which is what the ambulance will have done on scene - so it's not really possible to do online.

The part you've posted doesn't look textbook normal but isn't immediately concerning, but this could change depending on the parts we don't know.

AllyBamma · 27/06/2020 03:30

You’ve only given us a picture of 3 out of 12 leads, also without knowing clinical history, symptoms, previous medical history and a previous ECG to compare it to (ideally), it is absolutely impossible to comment on what’s ‘normal’. Follow up with your GP.

What the last 2 posters said, you have only shown 3 leads.

The paper is also not flat.
