Late 40’s, period now on 12th day, not particularly heavy, not had one that’s lasted this long before. Very small clots. Should I be worried? No other symptoms, just tiredness, have been anaemic before.

Just a bump, still bleeding. If I’m still bleed on Monday, that will take it to 14 days. Like I said it’s not really heavy heavy but I need to wear a pad. I’ll ring my gp Monday.

I believe this can happen in perimenopause. I wouldn't be overly worried, but a chat with your GP is worthwhile.

Hi..I wouldn't worry too much. i'm 51 and have a very large fibroid. ..it has made my periods extremely heavy and very clotty for the last 10 years. last June I had a period lasting four weeks and very heavy. I spoke to my dr at that point and she was not concerned but please speak to your dr anyway.
