Teen DD. She says it's been there about a week but got worse yesterday.

I wasn't sure if it's acne or a rash. But she takes medication for acne which she used to get on her face and the tablets have cleared up her face acne.

Doesn't look like the heat rash I get. I usually get larger areas of red and it is more blotchy. They look more well-defined. Looks more like acne to me.

No not heat rash looks like acne

Thanks. Odd that her face has been clear for months and her back has broken out suddenly.

Looks like acne (my dd is taking roaccutane for hers). It can suddenly break out in hot weather, just like heat rash.

Not heat rash. That’s more generalised and angry and red, rather than the localised outbreaks shown there. Random ask given lockdown but no chance it could be chicken pox?

JacobReesMogadishu · 23/06/2020 21:55

No, she’s had chicken pox when little and also hasn’t been out for months. She does get shingles a bit but it’s both sides so don’t think it’s shingles plus she doesn’t have the shingles pain. So probably acne.
