Oral thrush

After a course of antibiotics I developed mild oral thrush. Tried daktarin oral gel (miconazole) - this helped, but after 3 weeks it hasn’t fully cleared the white patches off my tongue. Wondering what the next step would be, tablets or oral drops (nystatin)? Any advice appreciated.

Nystatin is good and tablets are better. But daktarin is good too and after using it for 3 weeks should have cleared the oral thrush. Are you sure it is oral thrush? If you are then better take a prescription from GP.
Some antibiotics cause dry mouth which causes a white coating on tongue and can be confused with oral thrush. If it is just your tongue then may be brush it with a little toothpaste and soft brush and see if it clears. If you have white coating on your cheeks or upper palate then it is definitely thrush in which case it's best to go to your gp for advise.
