I'm surprised by just how many weird side effects chemo can have! I guess everyone knows about the hair loss, the nausea, etc. etc. But having chemo for AML recently, I couldn't believe how many weird side effects there were which I hadn't been expecting.
Tiredness - I had no idea how pronounced this would be. I literally couldn't get out of bed on a few occasions!
Everything bleeding due to low platelets - gums bleeding when you brush your teeth, nosebleeds, bruises everywhere...!
Random waking up in the middle of the night!
The most unexpected one for me... having trouble peeing! Waiting for an answer on this, but apparently the chemo can uncommonly cause nerve problems and it makes it hard to empty your bladder. For heaven's sake 
So many weird odd side effects!!!
