Tooth extraction worries

Hi.. so on the 1st June I had a tooth removed due to the filling allowing bacteria in and my dentist said I had the start of an abscess. I was sent home and 4 days later developed dry socket so was given antibiotics. 2 days later a piece of bone started coming out of the socket and this was removed by an emergency dentist. I had a sore throat soon after so was given another dose of antibiotics. I now have a pink fleshy lump in the hole and the gum still hurts and is tender. I noticed a huge ulcer at the back of my throat. Feeling so low right now and poorly with it all. Dentist wont see me due to covid as it's not an emergency he says.. is the fleshy piece normal? The piece they removed was bone they said..

Sea salt and water gargle is the best thing you can possibly do if you cannot be seen immediately. Boil water, add a small spoon of sea salt to a mug - let it cool and rinse at least twice a day. Hold in your mouth where the painful area is and pour out.. do it a few times but holding it for like 30 sec each time. Dont rinse or drink water for like 10 mins after. Good luck - I suffer from teeth problems so often so this is my two cents! Get well soon :(

I would have thought it was more likely to have been a piece of root that had been left in rather than bone. That's far more common, I've had that and as a former dental nurse I've seen it plenty of times.

The extraction site isn't closing but instead has a pink fleshy lump instead.

Sounds like a nice Blood clot which is good!!! Gentle hot salty water rinses, sounds perfectly normal. 3 weeks is not out the ordinary either.
