Where do you get DVTs?

Can a DVT appear anywhere in your leg? I have a pain/ soreness that’s at the very top of my thigh on the outside. It’s almost my hip/ bum.

A dvt would usually have some swelling and might be hot. The best way I can describe it is a tight feeling in leg. Mine felt like a muscle pain that got worse not better. If in anyway concerned phone for a telephone doctors appointment and they can assess need for further treatment. Don’t leave it too long if concerned about dvt as could cause pulmonary embolism.
