Hi I have recently develped severe pain in the arch on my right foot. Doc receommended rest, antiinflamatories etc. After two weeks the pain did not resolve so referred me to A&E for xray. There is nothing broken but the some of the arch bones seems to be overextended where I broke my instep many years ago. I was referred then to physio who has diagnosed me with Tibialis Posterior Tendinopathy and has recommeded a complete foot assessment for orthotics in addition to exercises. She advised that this is going to take time and I will have to live with the pain for a while. I have a couple of pairs of Fly London sandals and the wedge heel does give some relief but I do need to buy new footwear in the meantime. I work in a job that does require some standing and walking and need to be a little sytlish. Anyone else have this and if so what shoes/sandals do you wear or what can you recommend.
