Is this nappy rash or alergic reaction

Just changed dd's bum and towards her back on one bum cheek appears to be a burn. It looks like a friction burn. Its red and is weeping slightly. Im unsure if this is nappy rash or if its where shes been rolling over etc.
I gave her baby rice for the 1st time on saturday and she had her 1st poo today and then 3 hrs later was when I saw the rash. Could the baby rice made her poo a different acidity causing the rash or could it be a allergic reaction caused by the baby rice.

could possibly be thrush if it looks moist and v red. its unlikely to be allergic reaction as it probably would have shown a reaction around the mouth or made dd unwell.baby rice is usually v well tolerated and is often advised when u have upset tummy.u might be right about the friction burn but keep an eye on it if it is elsewhere in the nappy i would say its thrush which is easily cleared with cream from the doctor.
