Sunburn help please 😟

21 year old ds2 went out and stupidly got sunburnt yesterday riding his bike . It looks pretty severe , the backs of his hands have come up now in HUGE blisters . What is best to do ? Should it be covered ? See a doctor ? Really not sure .

Might be worth phoning extended hours to discuss. If you phone your surgery now there will be an answer phone message with the number. Probably quicker than 111

He really does need medical attention if he has blisters. I know this from experience. Poor chap. I wouldn’t leave it, he at least needs medical advice from an expert.

Blisters is a call to a HCP.

is it sunburn or has he come into contact with 'giant hogweed'
ive been burnt before not had huge blisters with it tho

It’s definitely sunburn . He says he isn’t in much pain with it which I find surprising as it looks bad . He’s been drinking lots of water and has put some hydrocortisone in the non blistered parts . Will phone GP in the morning .
