Itchy nipple

For over a month my nipple and a couple of parts of my boob itch but under the skin almost?
My nipple also feels quite tender.
Does anyone else have this?
Is it something to get looked at could not be hormonal?

Could be something entirely innocent but I would still get it checked as any changes to your boobs could point to something else going on. The quicker you get checked the more options you have. Not trying to scare but this is from personal experience

Thanks @PeraltasWife, yes I've I think I've been burying my head in the sand a bit about it. Especially as a friend has just been diagnosed with stage two breast cancer.
I'll give Dr's a phone tomorrow

I know it's scary and trust me no one wants to make that call but look at it this way, if it's all ok then you can stop worrying (and chances are it will be fine) but if for some reason it needs further investigation then your giving yourself all the available options. So much can be done with early intervention so being pro active is the best way to look after yourself. A lot of the time these things are completly normal but they still need to be checked.
