Anyone suffer from bad reflux gastritis/ gerd , I am suffering a lot to the point it’s taking over my life, never tried the above, been on lansaperole omperazole nothing works pain now under bottom of bra line, loads of phlegm in throat, so I comfy and nauseous, I know I must make an appointment to see the dr yet again, and I know sooner rather than later they will put me in for endoscopy, which I dread, all sorts of things going through my head, I’m surprised drs haven’t given me any tests for h polari etc etc but no nothing

I feel for you OP. You must go back to your doctor if you are suffering so much.

I had been on lansoprazole for years, then developed hoarse voice over the course of the day.

After referral to ENT, established that acid reflux was worse and travelling up to throat, causing the hoarse voice every day.

Told to take lansoprazole twice a day instead of once, and to take Peptac after every meal and at bedtime. I already had Gaviscon Advance on repeat prescription, so I take that instead now and it does help (when I remember to take it) 😉. Peptac is cheaper though, which is probably why ENT prescribed it.

I've been tested and found negative for H-pylori. You should try and get tested for it. But be mindful you have to stop the medication for a week or two before the test. Not nice!
Had endoscopy too. Not much found. So I just have to keep on taking the medicine.

Just realised if I have no joy with my drs, I will mention to my ear nose throat specialist as he’s bound to get things moving, no faith in my drs as they keep dishing out tabs instead of getting to the route of problem via tests
