Of course you can - and need - to go to the doctor.

Ring your GP surgery. They will give you a phone appointment with a GP, and then when you speak to the doctor, they will probably ask you to come in so they can assess the lump.

Going to a GP surgery at the moment is extremely safe. They are only seeing very few patients in person (most are being dealt with over the phone) and they will be wearing PPE.

I found a lump above my breast, next to my armpit a couple of days ago and the GP told me to go down to the surgery an hour after I phoned. After examining me he made the referral to the breast clinic.
Best to get all lumps checked out, your GP will most definitely want to see you.

Your GP is still available for exactly this sort of thing.

Definitely ring GP first thing. Hope all ok.

Thank you all. I just didnt want to bother them at this time if it's just a cyst. Will ring and make appointment when they open x

Hi - I've been to the GP today with a breast lump and been referred straight away. Thanks

Just wondering how you got on OP? My clinic appointment is on Tuesday.
