heart pains

Hi, before you say I have been to the gp for an ecg but I have been waiting for a call back since Tuesday and haven't heard anything from them.
For the past couple of weeks I have been getting a stabbing pain in my heart it lasts for up to 30 seconds where I cant breathe because of the pain then its gone it hasn't been happening very often about once a day, but the last 3/4 days its been happening a lot more I have been awake for about 2 hours this morning and its happened 4 times already.
Anyone have any idea what it could be or have it this happen before?

When I got chest painn it was because of the acid reflux.

Pain in hour heart doesn't often mean it's your heart that's the problem. There's usually another reason for it.

I have acid reflux and I get this sort of pain. Unfortunately reflux can be made worse by anxiety so if you are worrying about the pains then you may be caught in a viscous circle!

Possibly precordial catch syndrome? It's incredibly painful but very fleeting. Had it a lot when I was younger and only very occasionally now.
