Hi!! Really sorry if this is TMI. I have recently become a care assistant and I absolutely love it. It's the best job I've ever had and I literally wake up and look forward to going to work and seeing all the residents and I've come to really know and love them. I get stuck in with all the sick poo and wee ect and it does not bother me in the slightest whilst I'm doing it and I'm there it doesn't phase me one bit, the only issue I currently have is when I leave, and get home my stomach FLIPS and I am violently sick thinking of all the things I've done and seen- it doesn't put me off coming in the next day and it eventually wares off but I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and how they got over it and what I could do to help?
I won't quit my job and if it's the only downside then it's not a massive one but it is super unpleasant.
