Ear pain when swallowing

I have an ulcer on my tongue and need to close my ear when eating or drinking. Is the ear pain caused by the ulcer? I hope so because mouth ulcers usually heal pretty quickly for me. I'm worried though that there is also a problem in the area where I had a wisdom tooth removed 6 months ago because that also caused ear pain. The wisdom tooth area is not painful, but the tooth that had referred nerve pain and where I had a little lump after the wisdom tooth removal is hurting a bit. I'm obviously worried that there's a tooth problem with dentists being closed.
